What you get

  • A license key, emailed by Dodo Payments after purchase. One key per item you buy.
  • Ripenote Lifetime on up to 3 devices at a time: letters up to 20,000 characters; unlock dates up to 25 years ahead; 8 paper & wax themes, no brand mark on cards; printable a5 keepsake pdf; batch mode for up to 25 letters.
  • No subscription and no expiry. The license lasts for the lifetime of the product.

Occasion packs

Each pack key unlocks Lifetime plus:

  • Wedding pack (3 devices): Guest batch mode: up to 300 letters, one anniversary date; Printable A6 table cards with a QR code; The couple's keepsake PDF; 4 wedding themes.
  • Classroom pack (3 devices): Student batch mode: up to 60 letters; Graduation-date presets; Printable class sheet with one QR code per student; Student names off by default (numbers or first initial).
  • Baby / 18th birthday pack (3 devices): Frame-ready keepsake PDF (A4 or US Letter); 18th-birthday date wizard; 3 nursery themes; Dates up to 25 years ahead.
  • Team / Launch pack (10 devices): Team batch mode: up to 200 letters; Commercial-use licence; Company name on cards; Launch-day and “1 year later” presets.

If you hold several keys, you get everything they unlock together.

Personal and commercial use

  • Free, Lifetime, Wedding, Classroom and Baby: personal, family, classroom and other non-commercial use — your own letters, your wedding, your class, your family.
  • Team / Launch pack: adds a commercial-use license. Use it for your business — letters for your team, sealed launch announcements, cards with your company name, or letters you make for clients.

What you can do

  • Give away things you make with it — printed keepsakes, cards and sealed letters.
  • Give a gift key to someone else. Once given, it's theirs to use under this license.
  • Move between devices: deactivate an old one on the Your keys page to free its slot.

What you can't do

  • Publish your key or resell it. Gift keys are for giving, not for sale.
  • Use a key on more devices than its limit, or try to get around the limit.
  • Use Ripenote commercially without the Team / Launch pack.

Things that never need a license

  • Opening capsules — for anyone, forever.
  • Capsules you've already sealed — they keep working even if your key is refunded or Ripenote shuts down.
